Coordinating Group

A Coordinating Group, which currently consists of GEP co-chairs, the director of GEP-SU, co-chairs of GEP working groups, and a representative from RIfS SSG, manages the daily activities of GEP.  The members include:

• GEP co-chairs: Xuebin Zhang, Sonia I. Seneviratne
• GEP-SU director: Botao Zhou
• Co-chairs of GEP working groups:
  • Working Group on Event Attribution: Megan Kirchmeier-Young, Mark McCarthy
  • Contact Group on Weather and Climate Extremes: co-leads to be decided
  • Working Group on Annual assessment of Weather and Climate Extremes (AWCE): this group is to be established
• Representative from RIfS SSG: Luke Harrington
