Contact Group for Weather and Climate Extremes
Research on weather and climate extremes spreads across (almost) all WCRP Core Projects and Lighthouse Activities, but there is no effective communication mechanism among groups on relevant activities.
To foster communication within WCRP on activities related to weather and climate extremes, GEP has newly established a Contact Group consisting of early-career scientists with an interest in extremes, nominated by Core Projects and Lighthouse Activities.
